The New Balance 1906A Tech Explosion transforms the 1906A with a bold, technical redesign, featuring layered, deconstructed overlays in metallic and matte finishes.

Drawing from New Balance’s early 2000s archive, this version combines a classic white mesh base with standout synthetic and genuine leather overlays in Silver Metallic, Gold Metallic, and Castlerock. The distinct layers create a dynamic, textured look, while Castlerock nylon ribbons thread through the “N” logo and drape over the midsole for a deliberately unfinished aesthetic.

A unique touch comes from the yellow-orange detailing on the white midsole, adding character and nodding to the shoe’s retro inspiration, making it more striking than models with a plain off-white midsole. The 1906A Tech Explosion launched on July 24, 2024, with a retail price of $170.
